Ranbir Kapoor blasts journalist

Ranbir Kapoor in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

As if working with an ex wasn't awkward enough, you have to then dodge questions from unprofessional journalists trying to dig up dirt on your equation with the ex in question.

That's recently what happened at a press conference launching the trailer of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, in which real life exes Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are paired opposite each other.

A cheeky journalist asked Padukone, whether she would be willing to sport a tattoo to promote the film. It was a cheap dig because in the past Padukone did in fact get an actual 'RK' tattoo to when she was dating Kapoor back in 2008.

"I don't think any actor in the film fraternity does things for promoting and marketing of a film. We also have a personal life. We do things for a film, but when we go home, we have a life, parents, family, friends. So you should respect that," said Kapoor.

"You ask a question like this and if Deepika answers it, that would become an article for you. So it will be best that you also have a little dignity at a press conference like this and not bring up questions like this," he added.

Fair point in his defence.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani also stars Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur. It hits theatres worldwide on 31 May 2013. Check out the trailer and images from the film right here.
