Amitabh Bachchan, Naseerudin Shah and Vidya Balan in Sujoy Ghosh’s next
Rumour has it that the talented trio will be seen in award winning director's next revenge drama.
If rumours are to be believed (Bollywood Hungama, NDTV), in a casting coup of sorts, Sujoy Ghosh has managed to rope in powerhouse performers Amitabh Bachchan, Naseerudin Shah and Vidya Balan in his next film, a revenge drama aptly titled Badla.
Ghosh and Balan last worked together in Kahaani, a tale of a pregnant woman searching for her missing husband in Kolkata. The film was super successful both commercially and critically, so there’s all the more reason to get excited with the National Award winning team coming back together, but this time with acting stalwarts like Bachchan and Shah.
Balan and Bachchan worked together in Paa, which won both the actors immense praise, while Shah and Balan worked together in Ishqiya and The Dirty Picture, both of which scored at the box office.
